Clay Wadman
Last December my wife
and I went to Nepal. It was my third
trip. Beyond the Limits exceeded my expectations in all categories.
I guess Nepal is famous for glitches, a lost airline bag or missed
flight. After 40 hours of transit from Telluride, to LA to
Bancock to KMD and the jet lag associated, having them
meet us at the airport, happy, calm and fluent was a godsend. They
took us to a great hotel in Thamel, took us to dinner and took me
back to find my lost luggage the next day. In a country of perceived chaos their
entire staff remains upbeat and calm. The Trek itself was out of
this world. Beyond the seamless
logistics of our kitchen staff, great food and incredible hygiene,
we got so much out of traveling with guides who befriended not only
the locals, every step of the way, but all of us as well. I
now feel as if I have real friends living in Katmandu and
would trust them with any decision they might need to make
on my behalf.
I am happy to talk to you, or conference call with your
group, if any of you have questions or would like further reflections
on some of the smaller details of my travel experiences in
Nepal. |
