1. Medications
- Diamox (Acetazolamide) – for preventing and managing altitude sickness (with doctor’s advice).
- Paracetamol / Ibuprofen – for fever, headache, and mild pain relief.
- Aspirin – sometimes useful for altitude-related headaches (with Doctor suggestion).
- Antibiotics – for traveler’s diarrhea and infections (Ciprofloxacin / Azithromycin – consult doctor).
- Rehydration salts (ORS) – to treat dehydration from diarrhea or sweating.
- Anti-diarrheal (Loperamide/Imodium) – for severe diarrhea (short-term use).
- Antihistamines (Cetirizine / Loratadine) – for allergies.
- Motion sickness tablets – if prone to nausea during flights/jeep rides.
2. Wound & Injury Care
- Adhesive bandages (plasters) – assorted sizes.
- Sterile gauze pads & tape – for covering wounds.
- Antiseptic wipes / solution (Betadine or iodine) – for cleaning cuts.
- Antibiotic cream (Neosporin / similar) – for minor cuts.
- Blister treatment (Compeed, moleskin, second skin) – essential for trekkers.
- Elastic bandage (crepe bandage / ACE wrap) – for sprains/strains.
