In this Tour, you visit the Potala Durbar (palace), the highest palace in the world, at Lhasa. From the top of the Palace, you can observe the view of Lhasa city. During the Tibet tour, you visit the many Tibetan monasteries, including Tashi lunpo monastery, which is the home of the Panchen Lama, Palkhor monastery, Derpung monastery, Rongbuk monastery, etc. You also visit the ancient Jokhang temple, which was built in the 7th century during the period of Sontson Gombo. In this trek, you can enjoy the views of the towering mountains like Mt. Everest, also called Chomolungma in the Tibetan language, Gyan Kung, Cho Oyo, etc.

You begin This Tour from Kathmandu and drive to Kyirong Newly open Border and cross the Bridge and arrived at Kerung Historic city. Then you drive to Rongbuk via Nilayam Tingri, Overnight at Rongbuk. The next morning, start the trek to the North Everest base camp. You will drive via Shigatse, Gyantse, and Lasha. While traveling, you can enjoy the scenic beauty of the Tibetan plateau and visit different monasteries, temples as well as the famous places. From Rongbuk, you can have an excellent view of the Rongbuk glacier below the massive north face of Mt. Everest. The views of the Himalayan peaks as well as the glaciers in Tibet are most dramatic. In this Tour you also cross the Lama La pass on the way. you will enjoy Everest- the highest peak in the world, Lhotse, Makalu, as well as other peaks in the Tibetan Himalayas. Day 01: Kathmandu (1310m) – Kyirong Border(2800m) 185Km. 08 – 09 Hours Drive

Early in the Morning scenic drive to Kyirong Border Nepal Tibet Border through the beautiful Nepalese countryside after necessary border formalities at Nepali immigration and crossing the bridge process for all necessary formalities in Chinese immigration continue to drive to Kyirong Town. Stay Overnight at the Guest House.

Day 02: Kyirong - Lhatse (4,350m): 235 km 5-6 Hours

Early in the morning, drive to Kyiurung then you enter Tibet, you will be meeting the Tibetan tour guide at Kyirong border and then you will get transferred from Kyirong to Old Tingri (4300m). On the way, you will enjoy the view of the beautiful borderline and, snow-capped mountain and evergreen forest. As you pass Tongla Pass (5100m), you can appreciate the epic mountain vista of the Himalayan range. Stay overnight in Tingri.

Day 03: Lhatse to Ronbuk(4980m)90KmEverestBaseCampRonbuk(4,980m) and drive to Shigatse

Drive to Ronbuk and hike and explore around Everest Base Camp back to Ronbuk stay overnight in Ronbuk. On the way, tourists view the a vast plain of Shigatse and appreciate the magnificent murals and biggest Library of Buddhist scriptures in Tibet. Day 04: Shigatse to Lhasa 350km via Gyantse(3,950m).

Day 05: Sightseeing In Lhasa

After breakfast, we proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Potala Palace. Potala Palace is one of the most beautiful monuments in Tibet, with 1,000 rooms and 13 stories to explore. This is probably the most popular tourist attraction in Tibet. Additionally, Jokhang Temple, constructed in the 7th century, attracts hundreds of tourists every year. This temple has a very huge Sakyamuni Buddha statue and is considered the holiest place in Tibet. Barkhor Market Palace, located on Barkhor Street, is the epicenter of pilgrims, and along the route, you can see several small, fascinating temples. Stay Overnight at Hotel.

Day 06: Sightseeing in Lhasa(3,600m)

After breakfast, full day sightseeing of Sera Monastery Sera Monastery specialized in the fundamental precepts of Buddhism. Sera survived the ravage of the Cultural Revolution with light damage, although many of the lesser colleges were destroyed. Drepung Monastery was one of the world’s Largest monasteries it was founded in 1416. Stay Overnight at the hotel.

Customers whose travel arrangements are made by Beyond The Limits Treks will receive their Tibet Entry permit from our local office in the city where they depart for Tibet e.g. Chengdu if by air, Golmud if by Qinghai-Tibet Highway. You are required to present this document when boarding the flight to Tibet. Beyond The Limits Treks will make all necessary arrangements to obtain the correct documentation for you if you book a tour with us.

The Tibet border is Open. You can travel to Tibet from Nepal as China has opened the border of Tibet for Nepalese tourists and other foreign tourists from Nepal.
