How to go on the Lower Manaslu Gurung Heritage Trek?

There are local buses and shared jeeps available daily from Kathmandu to Barpak, with morning departures. However, we highly recommend taking a private jeep for the Lower Manaslu Trek for greater comfort and flexibility.

With a private jeep, you will have more opportunities to enjoy the stunning natural beauty along the route and stop at scenic viewpoints. It also allows you to visit the historic Gorkha Durbar, one of Nepal’s most significant heritage sites. This ancient palace is famous as the place where King Prithvi Narayan Shah began the unification of Nepal.
