Challenging Dhaulagiri Trek:

Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek is the adventerous trek around Mt. Dhaulagiri which involves the crossing of the two high passes French pass (5240m) and Dhampus pass (5155m).

In this trek, you have to walk over snow and glaciers most at least 3/4 days. Trekking to Dhaulagiri takes you to the ungraded trekking area which provides the opportunity to explore the pristine natural beauty and cultural grandeur as well as the stunning mountain vistas. During the Dhaulagiri trek, you can see the dramatic view of the two over 8000m mountain Annapurna and Dhaulagiri facing each other

The best season to go for the Dhaulagiri circuit trek is from March to May and August to November.

The challenging Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek begins from Beni after a 7/8 hours drive from Kathmandu, you can directly drive to Beni from Kathmandu. Then you follow the bank of the Myagdi Khola (river) and traverse through the peaceful forest with various flora and fauna and wild animals and birds, picturesque Gurung and Magar villages with the emerald terraced farm, ever-changing landscapes as well as the snow-covered trail to the Base camp of the Mt. Dhaulagiri enjoying views of the Dhaulagiri Massif.

In the villages, you can explore their lifestyle and culture. From the base camp, you had to cross the French pass and enter the hidden valley. From the pass, you can enjoy the views of the mountains and the beautiful hidden valley. You also cross the Dhampus pass from the valley and finally reach the Jomsom from where you take the flight back to Pokhara.

Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu (1310m/4264ft)

On this particular day, you will land on Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu where you will be warmly received by the representative staffs from Beyond the Limits Treks and Expedition. From TIA, you will be transferred into the hotel royal suite Kathmandu. After checking in hotel Our Trek Manager will briefing you shortly for upcoming trekking program, we will be discussed on the detailed itinerary. Stay overnight in hotel Royal suite Kathmandu.

This is an important day bbeforeyour trek start where you get to sightseeing Kathmandu in the proper guidance of our guide. Since you have lots of things to sthe ight we will be heading in an early morning. There used to an artistic and valuable Durbar Square, at present those monuments are in cthe ritical state though it is equally valued. In Kathmandu you can observe numerous cultural heritage sites which are listed in UNESCO, counting Swyambhunath, Bouddhanath and Pashupatinath. Stay overnight in hotel.

After striking Break fast in Hotel in Kathmandu on this day you will all set to Darbang and it will consumes 8 hours by bus. Darbang  will nicely depict the pastoral life which is different from the life style of Kathmandu. Arriving at Darbang  either you can stay in the Tea house.

On the following day you will continue the trek moving towards Muri situated at an elevation of 1,850 meter. The trek will make you walk for 5 to 6 hours. The trekking trail will make you to take vertical ascend where you can perceive Mount Dhaulagiri along with other mountains. Stay overnight in tented camp.

Leaving Muri you will start to trek Boghara where you will find the trekking easy. After that you will take downhill for some hours then you will arrive at Boghara. Then, you will take ascend though vertical trail which will take you to Boghara. Stay overnight in tented camp.

On the following day ,you will pass the wooden bridge of Dobang, taking ascend. Then, the west section of Dhaulagiri I will come to notice. Taking downward to Myagdi Khola and passing through the wooden bridge towards the eastern bank. Again crossing the forest you will move ahead through the rocky area and stream will take you to Choriban Khola. Stay overnight in tented camp.

Today you will continue the trek to Italian Base Camp where you will set the camp in front of the West wall of Dhaulagiri. Crossing all through the attractive forest you will speedily seize altitude and bursting mountains. Stay overnight in tented camp.

This is the day supposed to be rest day where you will stay and have rest. But if you wish you can stroll towards the Japanese camp for acclimatization as there is scope for exploration. Taking proper acclimatization you will move ahead passing the initial glacier by using ropes in a tricky spots. Then, you will ascend the core glacier. Today you will arrive at the Dhaulagiri Base Camp after you continue the trek from Glacier Camp. Quickly the uneven rubble offers the trail to the smooth ice of the white part of the glacier. On the next day you will trek above the base camp which asks for rope but when you are over the vertical moraine walls you are said to be harmless. Then, the puffing ascend will take you to the top of French Pass. Stay overnight in tented camp.
