Dolpo region is one of the most remote and culturally rich trekking regions of Nepal. It is located in far western part of Nepal. It is known for its stunning landscape, Buddhist culture, high-altitude terrain, and bonpo religion. This region is mostly located inside Shey-Phoksundo National Park, where Shey Gompa and Phoksundo Lake are the jewels of this region.
