About Machhapuchhre Model Trek

Overview

Explore the newly opened trekking route in the Annapurna region during Machhapuchhre Model Trek 13 Days. The Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) introduced this trek in 2010. Not many people know about this short and easy trekking route in the Annapurna region. And on top of that handful of trekkers only do Machhapuchhre Model Trek every year, making the trail less crowded.

The Machhapuchhre Model Trekking leads you to Khumai Danda. We have the best Khumai Danda itinerary. If you are looking for a less trodden trail yet stunning landscapes and mountain views, then Annapurna Machhapuchhre Model Trek is the ideal package for you.

The Machhapuchhre Model Trek route ascends through Annapurna Conservation Area. The trail is mostly forested and crosses many small river streams. You pass by lush forests of rhododendron, pine, and bamboo. Along the way, you may also come across a range of flora and fauna.

In terms of cultural experience, Machhapuchhre Model Trekking does not lower your expectations. The overnight stays along the way are in authentic remote Nepali villages resided by people from several communities like Tamang, Magar, Sarki, Damai, Newar, Chhetri, Gurung, and Brahmins. The locals are friendly and welcoming. The locals mostly follow either Hinduism or Buddhism religion. You get to experience the village lifestyle and the rich culture of the villagers. Machhapuchhre Model Trek teaches you a lot about the simple mountain lifestyle.

As you gain altitude, the views will get better. From day one, the scenery is excellent. You enjoy tranquil trekking and keep all the breathtaking mountain panorama to yourself. The mountains seen on Machhapuchhre Model Trek 13 Days are Annapurna (8,091 m), Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), Hiunchuli (6,441 m), Machhapucchre (6,993 m), Mardi Himal (5,587 m), etc. It's a simple process to join Machhapuchhre Model Trek for the upcoming season in 2022 and 2023. Annapurna Machhapuchhre model trek difficulty

Machhapuchhre Model Trekking is a relatively easy trek in the Annapurna region. The trail ascends to almos 3,700 meters, which is not a very high altitude compared to other famous trekking routes like EBC, ABC, and Annapurna Circuit.

This trek is suitable for novice trekkers who want to introduce themselves with trekking in the Himalayas. On average 5 to 6 hours of walking is required each day. Therefore, trekkers have to be fit to walk. Build your stamina doing cardio activities like running, jogging, cycling, swimming, etc before the beginning of the trek.

For altitude sickness, you do not have to worry a lot about it. The elevation rise is quite decent, and you get a lot of time to acclimatize while spending time in the villages. Keep yourself hydrated and avoid alcoholic drinks & smoking.
